- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Brown the ground beef, then drain excess grease.
- Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, broth, soy sauce, and spices. Bring to a boil.
- Add macaroni, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Top with cheddar cheese if desired, cover, and let it melt. Serve warm.

- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
