Description

Make Beef Kebab Rice Bowl with spiced ground beef, fluffy rice, and fresh veggies. A delicious, high-protein meal with a creamy yogurt sauce!  


Ingredients

  • Beef Kebab:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 small onion, grated
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 tsp ground cumin
    • 1 tsp ground coriander
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
    • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Rice & Bowl Ingredients:
    • 1 cup basmati rice
    • 2 cups water
    • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
    • ½ cucumber, sliced
    • ¼ red onion, thinly sliced
    • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
    • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese (optional)
  • Yogurt Sauce:
    • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice
    • ½ tsp garlic powder
    • ½ tsp cumin
    • Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Mix ground beef, grated onion, garlic, and spices in a bowl. Shape into oval kebabs.  

2. Heat a skillet or grill and cook kebabs for 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked.  

3. Rinse basmati rice under cold water. Boil 2 cups water, add rice, butter, and salt. Cover and cook for 15 minutes.  

4. In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, cumin, and salt.  

5. Assemble the bowl with rice, kebabs, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, parsley, and feta.  

6. Drizzle with yogurt sauce and serve immediately.  

Notes

– Marinate the beef mixture for 15 minutes before cooking for better texture.  

– Grill the kebabs for a smoky taste.  

– Store ingredients separately if making ahead.
