Ingredients
– 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/4 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
– 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
– 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
– 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped
– 1/2 avocado, sliced
– 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
**Special Sauce**
– 1/4 cup mayonnaise
– 1 tablespoon ketchup
– 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
– 1 tablespoon pickle juice
– 1 tablespoon dill relish
– 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
2. Add the ground beef and all the seasonings (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper).
3. Cook the beef, breaking it apart as it browns. Cook until fully done, about 8–10 minutes.
4. Drain excess fat and set the meat aside to slightly cool.
5. In a small bowl, combine all the special sauce ingredients and whisk until smooth. Set aside.
6. Prepare the salad base by arranging chopped romaine in serving bowls.
7. Add toppings: tomatoes, red onion, pickles, avocado, and shredded cheese.
8. Add the cooked ground beef on top of the salad.
9. Drizzle generously with special sauce.
10. Serve immediately and enjoy!
