- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp ground coriander
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Wrap Ingredients:
- 4 large pita breads or flatbreads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- ½ cup sliced red onions
- ½ cup tzatziki or garlic sauce
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Combine yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and spices for the marinade. Coat the chicken and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Grill chicken on medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Let rest and slice into strips.
- Warm pita bread, spread with sauce, and layer with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and chicken. Wrap tightly and serve.
