This Thai Basil Chicken is a quick and flavorful stir-fry made with juicy chicken, garlic, chilies, and fresh Thai basil in a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • For the Chicken Stir-Fry:
    • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, chopped
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 Thai red chilies, sliced
    • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
    • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • For the Sauce:
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
    • 1 tbsp fish sauce
    • 1 tsp dark soy sauce
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • ¼ cup chicken broth or water

Instructions

  • Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sauté garlic and chilies for 30 seconds.
  • Add chicken and cook until browned.
  • Pour in the sauce and stir well. Add onions and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and stir in fresh Thai basil. Serve hot with rice.
